Project Description

The Howard Hughes Corporation has properties all across the United States and their Downtown Summerlin property in Las Vegas, Nevada is one of their largest projects to date. In celebration of the Chinese New Year, Howard Hughes had us design, build and install multiple props that were themed after the Chinese Lunar New Year in 2021. These props were made our of a combination of foam, plastic, and metal and then creatively dressed in elements from Chinese culture. We provided multiple 5 foot tall pieces of Chinese lettering and a 15 foot long dragon that was able to float in water. Our design team worked with the Howard Hughes team to create props that were unique and tied into the Chinese culture. It was important for us to make sure that every prop was themed correctly and represented the diversity of cultures within the Las Vegas Valley.
